What it shows
A heat map built from the Western Australia tenement record, both expired tenements and current granted and pending titles, curated to the gold-relevant ones. It colours the ground by how many tenements overlap each spot, so it shows where ground was pegged, dropped and re-pegged most across a goldfield's history. The overlap count is sorted into six bands, and the brightest cores are the rare, heavily reworked patches worth a close look, because the most fought-over ground is usually the most prospective. This is a guide to mining activity, not a promise of gold. Check the current tenure before you detect.
