    Tenement boundaries change constantly. Patchly rebuilds them nightly and pulls the changes over Wi-Fi on its own, so they are on your map when you open it in the morning.

Why Patchly exists

Built by a prospector who wanted a better map.

The more time I spent prospecting, the less useful my map became. Nearly three years of tracks and finds had accumulated into a history I could record, but no longer make sense of.

I’ve been building software for more than 13 years. And ever since I started prospecting, I have been building my own prospecting app in my head, refining it a little further every time the real ones fell short. Eventually I stopped imagining it and built it.

Patchly is that idea made real: one fast, offline-ready place for the ground you’ve covered, the things you’ve found and the work still ahead. It is designed around years of history, and that history stays yours alone. A serious field tool should never make you worry about where your data ends up, and it should only get better the more you trust it with.
