Where the Queensland LiDAR Relief layer has bare-earth data.
What it shows
The ground the Queensland LiDAR Relief layer covers, so a patch can be checked before a trip rather than found blank on the day. Shaded areas have bare-earth LiDAR relief, and everything else does not. Survey covers about a tenth of the state, concentrated along the east and around the worked districts, so a gap can start within a few kilometres of covered ground. Where this layer is blank, no LiDAR survey has been flown and mapped into the relief layer for that ground: it is not a download that failed, and waiting or re-downloading will not fill it. The outline is measured from the relief layer's own map tiles rather than from a government survey footprint, so it shows the ground that is actually there to download, which is the narrower of the two.
